What a dream come true – Chef Abby celebrates first BBC Radio appearance


Chef Abby has celebrated a major personal milestone after making her first appearance on BBC Radio.

The Ghanaian chef and content creator said appearing on BBC Radio had always been one of her dreams, and she was excited to finally achieve it.

“It’s always been one of my dreams to be on BBC Radio, and today, I got to live that dream! What an honour to speak about my vision as an African food creator,” she shared.

Chef Abby, born Abena Amoakoaa Sintim-Aboagye, also spoke about her vision as an African food creator ahead of a food demonstration at Trafalgar Square in London.

She thanked the Mayor of London’s team for giving her the opportunity to share her work on the platform.

“Big thank you to the Mayor of London’s team for this incredible opportunity,” she added.

Chef Abby was born in Kumasi on July 6, 1999. She has built a large following on social media, including millions of followers on TikTok and subscribers on YouTube, where she promotes Ghanaian and African cuisine to audiences around the world.
