UK-based Ghanaian Afrobeats / Afropop artiste Bobo Dada Bee has secured four major nominations at the 2026 Taabea Ghana Music Awards UK (GMAUK 26), the 10th anniversary edition of the prestigious diaspora awards scheme.
The official nominee artwork confirms Bobo Dada Bee has been nominated in:
• UK - Based Afrobeats / Afropop Song of the Year
• UK - Based Afrobeats / Afropop Artiste of the Year
• UK - Based New Artiste of the Year
• UK - Based Artiste of the Year
The quadruple nomination places him among the most nominated UK-based acts in this year's edition, marking a major breakthrough year for his craft in the UK Afrobeats scene.
The Ghana Music Awards UK has released its full list of nominees for the 2026 edition, marking a milestone 10th anniversary for the event, which celebrates Ghanaian music and talent within the United Kingdom and beyond.
The nominations span more than 30 categories, ranging from Artiste of the Year to genre-specific honours in Afrobeats, Highlife, Gospel and Reggae/Dancehall, as well as UK-based categories recognising Ghanaian talent within the diaspora.
Celebrating its tenth edition, the awards ceremony takes place on 31 October 2026 at The Royal Regency, London.
This year's edition features top Ghanaian artistes including Black Sherif, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Wendy Shay alongside rising diaspora stars.

Voting is now officially open for all categories.
According to organizers, fans can cast their votes at www.gmauk.co.uk, while those in Ghana can also vote by dialling *447*2026# on all networks.
Supporters are encouraged to vote in all four categories to increase his chances of winning.
The GMAUK, under the theme "Taabea GMA 10 Years", continues to be the biggest platform celebrating Ghanaian music excellence in the UK.
