Renowned radio presenter and broadcaster, Evangelist Vincent Nyarko, has recounted the painful circumstances that led to the death of his daughter a year ago, attributing her demise to negligence on the part of a health facility.
Marking the first anniversary of his daughter's passing, today, July 22, 2026, the broadcaster took to social media to share an emotional tribute and narrate what he says happened on that fateful night.
In the post, Evangelist Nyarko questioned how a patient in critical condition and in dire need of emergency fresh blood could be left to die when a willing donor was available.
According to him, he personally went to the hospital to donate blood to save his daughter's life.
He alleged that the doctor and the laboratory technician on duty refused to take his blood, telling him that it was already 7 p.m. and therefore he could not donate.
The patient, his daughter, reportedly died three hours later at about 10 p.m.
Expressing his grief and anger, Evangelist Nyarko described the conduct of the health workers as incompetent, careless and unprofessional, adding that such persons have no place in the health profession.
He concluded his post with the words: "RIP my daughter. God will judge us all."
His revelation has since sparked outrage and an outpouring of sympathy online, with many calling for improved emergency response and accountability in the country's health sector.
At the time of this report, the name of the hospital where the incident allegedly occurred has not been disclosed, and no official response has been issued.
