Supporters describe him as a bridge-builder with strong ties across the region’s diverse communities.

He is known for his philanthropic work and accessibility to party members at the grassroots.

Key Campaign Pillars

1.  Party Unity: Foster cohesion among all factions and bridge generational gaps within the regional executive structure.

2.  Grassroots Mobilization: Reinvigorate branch and ward executives through training, logistics support, and regular engagement.

3.  Youth & Women Inclusion: Create deliberate pathways for young people and women to take leadership roles within the party.

Speaking on his decision to contest, Alhaji Takoradi told Boga Ali Hashim “The Western Region is critical to the NDC’s future. I am offering myself to serve so that together we can rebuild, retool, and reclaim the confidence of our people. This is about teamwork and hard work from the polling station up.”

The NDC is expected to hold its regional conferences across the country in the coming months to elect new regional executives.
