The Member of Parliament for Takoradi and former Western Regional Minister, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, is set to launch the Kobby Youth Investment Initiative Fund tomorrow, with a presentation of entrepreneurship items to young business owners in the constituency.
The launch is scheduled for Monday, 29th June 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Takoradi Patriot House, which also serves as the NPP Takoradi Constituency party office.
According to details shared ahead of the event, the initiative is designed to provide young entrepreneurs with tools and opportunities to grow their businesses, innovate, and contribute to community development.
The presentation will focus on equipping beneficiaries with practical items to support their trades.
A promotional flyer for the event features sewing machines and hair dryers, indicating support for sectors such as fashion and beauty.
“Empowering our youth in Takoradi remains one of my greatest passions,” Hon. Darko-Mensah stated.
“Through the Kobby Youth Investment Initiative Fund, we are fueling the dreams of young entrepreneurs, providing them with the tools and opportunities to succeed, innovate, and transform their communities.”
The MP described the upcoming launch as “another meaningful step toward a brighter future for Takoradi” and called on constituents to join the event.
