The Western Regional Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), led by Regional Youth Organizer Hajj Mustapha Iddrisu, has honoured Lawyer Edudzi Kudzo Tamakloe, Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) and Director of Legal Affairs of the NDC, for his outstanding contribution to the party and its youth front.
The honour is in recognition of Lawyer Tamakloe’s unwavering support for the Western Regional Youth Wing, coupled with his invaluable legal expertise and mentorship, which the Wing says has instilled confidence and strengthened activism among young party members in the region.
In a citation presented to him, the Youth Wing highlighted his consistent solidarity and capacity-building efforts prior to the 2024 general elections, where he graciously shared his expertise and resources to enhance the operational capabilities of the youth structure.
The Wing extended special recognition to his exceptional legal representation in two landmark cases in the region — the 2020 Jomoro Parliamentary Election Petition and the Amenfi Central Court Case — where he exhibited high professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and resolute advocacy before the courts in defence of the party’s interest.
Speaking on behalf of the Youth Wing, Hajj Mustapha Iddrisu described Lawyer Edudzi Tamakloe as “a distinguished individual deserving of recognition and appreciation” and “a pillar of legal strength and a true friend of the Western Region Youth.”
He noted that Lawyer Tamakloe’s mentorship continues to inspire a new generation of young NDC activists to remain committed, disciplined, and legally conscious in their political work.
Lawyer Edudzi Kudzo Tamakloe expressed gratitude for the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the youth wing and advancing the broader agenda of the NDC.
The Western Regional Youth Wing said the honour forms part of its initiative to celebrate party stalwarts whose sacrifice and dedication have contributed significantly to the growth and resilience of the NDC in the Western Region.
