Pep Guardiola tipped to make return to Etihad Stadium this month

Pep Guardiola has been tipped to appear at the Etihad Stadium for Manchester City's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain next week.

This prediction has been made by Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, a close friend of Guardiola's.

Guardiola posted on Instagram last week in support of Man City and suggested that he'll be there to help the club after they were found guilty of all serious financial breaches.

He said: "I want every single Manchester City fan across the world to know I am here; more than ever.

"I am, always have been, always will be, behind my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran (Soriano), the players, staff, Enzo (Maresca) and you, our unique supporters.

"Let me be clear: we will get through this together. I love you all."

And Balague now believes that the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss will be in attendance against PSG in the Champions League, next Wednesday.

When asked about this on White and Jordan by Jim White, Balague said: "He's a bit bored. When he put the Instagram post out, it was himself. He felt he had to say this to the fans.

"I've got the impression that he would like to be there at the first game at the Etihad.

"When he puts this post out, he is backing his friends because they put everything in place for him to arrive and be successful.
