In celebration of World Photography Day, the Western Regional Chapter of the Ghana Union of Professional Photographers (GUPP) paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA).
The delegation used the opportunity to officially introduce the professional association to the Mayor and the leadership of the Assembly.
Key discussions centered on the strategic growth, professionalization, and overall development of the photography industry within the Western Region.
Receiving the delegation, the Mayor commended the group for their initiative and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to fostering a thriving creative sector.
He assured the leadership of GUPP of the Assembly's continuous support and highlighted a strong willingness to collaborate on joint projects aimed at promoting the photography industry and the broader creative arts landscape within the metropolis.
