The Member of Parliament for Mpohor-Fiase, Hon Godfred Kofi Bentil, has reaffirmed his commitment to transparency and service at a special accountability forum held on Thursday, 1st October 2026.
Dubbed “ACCOUNTING TO THE PEOPLE, ACCOUNTABLE TO THE PEOPLE”, the event saw the MP render an account to the good people of Mpohor-Fiase on resources entrusted to him by government and how they have been utilized for the benefit of constituents.
According to the MP, beyond accounting, the occasion was used to support constituents with practical interventions.
He distributed free industrial machines to newly graduated dressmakers across the constituency, motorbikes to the Pragia Association and a school bus to Trebuom SDA School.
He noted that the distribution of industrial machines is particularly significant, as it marks the second time since assuming office that he has undertaken such an initiative to empower young people to become economically independent.
“I firmly believe that accountability is one of the hallmarks of good leadership. As your representative, I owe the people of Mpohor-Fiase an honest account...” the MP stated.
While delivering accountability with substance, Hon. Bentil also made a style statement, appearing in a bespoke Afro-centric kaftan by AnafoBisi Clothing, an indigenous Ghanaian brand that leads in making Afro-centric wear, kaftans for all occasions.
