Arafat Musah Joins EIB Network, Set To Host Morning Starr After Beach FM Stint

Broadcaster Arafat Musah has joined the EIB Network and is set to host its flagship morning show, Morning Starr on Starr 103.5 FM.

Musah makes the move to Accra after a well-noted run in the Western Region with Beach FM 105.5 in Takoradi, where he was widely known as host of the Western Echo Show.

The station's morning belt and current affairs programming made him a familiar voice on Western Region airwaves, where he regularly interviewed political, business and community leaders.

Before his time at Beach FM, Musah had also been listed among accredited practitioners with Orange FM, building a career across radio in the Western and Central corridors.

His new role places him at the centre of one of Ghana's most competitive morning show slots. Morning Starr is the flagship weekday breakfast show on EIB Network's Starr FM, known for its news, politics and in-depth interviews.

The move comes at a time of transition for the show. Long-time broadcaster Naa Dedei Tettey hosted The Morning Starr on Starr 103.5 FM for the final time on Friday, August 7, 2026, closing nearly a decade-long journey with Starr FM and GHOne TV. Tettey made history as the first substantive female host of the show.

EIB Network, owned by  and operators of Starr FM, GHOne TV, Live FM and other brands, has in recent weeks been refreshing its on-air lineup, including new additions to Starr Drive.

Musah is expected to bring his Western Region audience and his interview-driven style to the national platform. An official unveiling and his first air date on Morning Starr are expected to be announced by the network in the coming days.
