Nat Andoh Declares Bid for NDC Western Regional Deputy Communications Officer

Nat Andoh, the Public Relations Officer of the Effia-Kwesimin Municipal Assembly, has officially declared his intention to contest for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Western Regional Deputy Communications Officer position.

In a statement released Friday, Andoh confirmed his bid and outlined plans to strengthen the party’s communication machinery in the Western Region ahead of future elections.

He said his experience in public relations and local governance positions him to bridge the gap between the party, the media, and the grassroots.

“I am offering myself to serve because I believe in a more proactive, responsive, and data-driven approach to political communication,” Andoh stated. “The Western Region is strategic, and we need a communications team that listens, engages, and sets the narrative.”

Andoh currently serves as the PRO for the Effia-Kwesimin Municipal Assembly, where he has been responsible for media relations, public engagement, and information dissemination on assembly activities. Within NDC circles, he is known for his work on local party communications and youth mobilisation efforts.

The NDC is expected to open nominations for regional executive elections later this year. If elected, Andoh says he will prioritize training for constituency communicators, rapid response to misinformation, and expanding the party’s digital media presence across the 14 districts in the Western Region.

Party delegates in the region will decide on the next Deputy Communications Officer during the upcoming regional conference. Dates for the conference are yet to be announced by the NDC Western Regional Secretariat.
