The Western Regional Directorate of the National Service Authority recently joined forces with a high-powered delegation from the Head Office to conduct an intensive orientation for prospective national service personnel.

Led by Colonel Moses Kpeungu, Deputy Director General in charge of Programs and Operations, this initiative was held on-campus at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), specifically at the Essikado and Tarkwa campuses.

This orientation provided vital insights into the mission and functioning of the National Service Authority, detailing the deployment procedures and outlining what to expect during the national service year.

Participants were equipped with knowledge designed to prepare them for meaningful contributions to national development during their service.

Colonel Kpeungu’s strategic leadership and the collaborative spirit of the Head Office team were instrumental in delivering a comprehensive program that reinforced the commitment to grooming young professionals for impactful service.

The presence of the Western Regional Directorate headed by Mensah  Kweku Emmanuel alongside the Head Office underscored the strong partnership vital to achieving the National Service Authority’s objectives.

The Western Region remains thoroughly prepared to welcome and support all national service personnel assigned to it.

Prospective servicemen and women are encouraged to approach this pivotal phase with enthusiasm, discipline, and a willingness to serve their communities and nation with dedication.

As these emerging professionals embark on their service journey, the orientation marks not only the beginning of their national contribution but also an opportunity to develop personally and professionally in ways that will resonate beyond their year of service.
