NFF announces Super Eagles squad for 2025 Unity Cup clash against Ghana

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the Super Eagles squad for the 2025 Unity Cup game later this month, with some big names missing out.

The two West African neighbours will renew their rivalry in the semifinal at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford on Tuesday, May 28. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 GMT.

The winner of that tie will face either Jamaica or Trinidad and Tobago in the final on Saturday, May 31, with the match set to kick off at 12:30 GMT.

Meanwhile, the head coach of the Super Eagles, Eric Chelle, has key players such as Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi, Joe Aribo, and Calvin Bassey.

Premier League duo Wilfred Ndidi and Frank Onyeka headline the midfield, while Kelechi Iheanacho, Samuel Chukwueze, and Moses Sim have been named in the squad.

Meanwhile, Ghana coach Otto Addo is expected to announce his final squad for the tournament in the coming days.
